Ziggurat of Flavour
We were engaged by Steeldeck Rentals to provide structural engineering design into the construction of a pyramidal structure as part of an art installation for The Big Chill 2010 Festival. The structure incorporated a labyrinth into which the public could pass whilst experiencing a cloud of breathable fruit. The labyrinth progressed up through the structure ending in a slide down the out side of the pyramid. Webb Yates Engineers worked closely with Steeldeck to develop the structure to create the space and experience required whilst also ensuring that the temporary installation was safe for use by the general public.
