Liam joined Webb Yates Engineers in 2019. During this time he has worked on a variety of projects, such as a major redevelopment of the Rhodes Scholarship’s Grade II* listed base at the University of Oxford; Live Museum, a new cultural centre in Delhi, India; and a new large private family home within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

In addition to his project work, Liam is part of Webb Yates Engineers’ stone design steering group, with experience across a number of typologies of structural stone, including staircases and post-tensioned stone beams, as well as the company’s computational design team, pushing to improve the use of digital tools and innovation throughout the practice. He is engaged with the Young Structural Engineers International Design Competition, winning the top award in 2017, and is a mentor for students at University College London and the University of East London.

Liam graduated from the University of Bath in 2014 with a degree in Civil and Architectural Engineering and has previously worked at a global multi-disciplinary consultancy, where he led a diverse range of projects within the education and commercial sectors including a number of buildings for Richmond College, a transport terminal with a 94m glulam catenary roof, and the new Meridian Water station.
