Ruby joined Webb Yates Engineers in 2023 and has quickly gained experience on a number of projects, including the development of an Edwardian school building in Oxford, and a timber-concrete composite office and laboratory complex in Cambridge.

She is passionate about building conservation and retrofitting, driven by her interest in sustainable construction.

Ruby graduated from the University of Sheffield with a MEng in Civil Engineering in 2022. During her education, she gained valuable experience through summer placements with both small and large-scale engineering companies. During this time, she was involved in several rewarding projects, including a ten-storey office and retail building in central London and two railway networks.
