 Structural Engineers – Full Time London

Webb Yates Engineers is looking for structural engineers with 3-4 years post graduate experience to join our London Team to work across a diversity of interesting and challenging projects. Candidates will ideally have Engineering Level 6 or equivalent qualification.

Experience of computer analysis of structures and CAD is essential. Candidates will have relevant experience of carrying out analysis and design of structural forms and knowledge of producing viable structural engineering solutions within the scope of a design brief, taking account of structural stability, durability aesthetics and cost.

The successful candidate will be expected to undertake structural engineering designs, attend meetings and construction sites, supervise production of project deliverables, and undertake professional development towards Chartered Engineer qualification.

Civil Engineer – Full Time – London

Webb Yates Engineers is looking for a newly chartered or soon to be chartered Civil Engineer to join our Civils team in London. Candidates will have relevant experience in civil engineering design, including drainage, S278, SuDS, highways and infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be expected to work alongside more senior engineers on all stages of the structural and civil design of buildings and other projects. This will include initial scheme design of options, design development and coordination with other members of the design teams, detailed design calculations, assisting in the preparation of working drawings and details, together with site inspections.

Revit Technician – Full Time – London

Webb Yates Engineers is looking for a Revit Technician with 4-6 years’ experience of Revit to join our team in London.

Candidates will have an Engineering Level 3 or equivalent qualification (HND or BEng equivalent) in a built environment subject together with experience of producing civil and structural drawings with Revit. Candidates will have an enthusiasm for structural and civil engineering.

The successful candidate will be expected to prepare technical engineering deliverables including Building Information Modelling and CAD drawing production, attend meetings, and supervise the production of project deliverables.

 Marketing and Office Coordinator - Full Time - London

Webb Yates Engineers is looking for a marketing and office coordinator to join its team in London.

This role would suit an enthusiastic, early-career professional – someone looking to learn the ropes in a creative environment, with longer term ambitions to specialise in marketing, PR or graphics.

You will contribute to the smooth day-to-day operations of the team, working collaboratively with a number of internal and external staff and more closely with the Practice Manager. Duties include:

Marketing and graphics:

  • Assisting with social media, the development of publications and newsletter
  • Researching and disseminating relevant industry news
  • Suggesting stories and drafting press releases
  • Coordinating and preparing internal communications, including company newsletter
  • Maintaining internal communication systems, including intranet
  • Designing presentations and company brochures
  • Assisting with the preparation of award submissions, including writing text and designing presentations
  • Assisting with the preparation of bid documents
  • Maintaining and editing staff CVs and project sheets

Administration:

  • Answering phone, transferring calls and taking accurate and complete messages
  • Providing administrative support to the technical staff
  • Organising travel, conference and meetings
  • Filing and archiving
  • General upkeep of office – ensuring meeting rooms and common areas are kept tidy

The successful candidate will be a team player – comfortable working with colleagues at all levels, and bringing enthusiasm, a proactive attitude and great organisation skills to the practice.

An interest in the built environment sector would be desirable. A keen design eye, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and great writing skills are a must.

Admin Assistant - Full Time - London

Webb Yates Engineers is looking for an admin assistant to join its team in London.

This role would suit an enthusiastic, early-career professional – someone looking to learn the ropes in a creative environment.

You will contribute to the smooth day-to-day operations of the team, working collaboratively with a number of internal and external staff and more closely with the Practice Manager and HR and Office Coordinator. Duties include:

Front of house:

  • Greet visitors
  • Answer reception phone, transfer calls and take accurate messages
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily post and deliveries
  • Ensure office, kitchen and meeting rooms are kept neat and tidy
  • Ensure fruit bowls and fridges are stocked
  • Ensure printing and stationery area is tidy and well stocked

Administration:

  • Filing and archiving jobs
  • Providing general support to the admin team
  • Providing general support to the technical staff
  • Organising travel, conferences and meetings
  • Other administration duties as and when required

The successful candidate will be a team player – comfortable working with colleagues at all levels, and bringing enthusiasm, a proactive attitude and great organisation skills to the practice.

An interest in the built environment sector would be desirable. A can-do attitude, professional telephone manner, and ability to multi-task are a must.
