Exciting times ahead! We got the chance to develop a community food market and hydroponic farm with stunning exposed structural elements in Ilford Town Centre for our client Mercato Metropolitano. Circular economy principals are central to the scheme, which sequesters carbon through its glue laminated timber frame.

By using low carbon materials, the embodied carbon for the scheme is well below the RIBA 2030 domestic target of 300 kgCO₂e/m².
