Construction of our basement project in Cheyne Walk is now complete.
This property is an existing terraced townhouse in Cheyne Walk originally built for a retiring Lord of the Admiralty on a gap site overlooking the Thames. Since it was built it has had additions and internal changes that have left it dark and cluttered. The scheme clears out these later additions to create open plan spaces to suit more informal living and allowing light into the rear of the property. The main house has been returned to its original arrangement and a new addition at basement level offers additional accommodation punctuated by geometric roof lights and windows with views to the garden.
