Paradise, our new net-zero carbon office scheme, won the Working Category in this year’s New London Awards 2020.

The scheme, which also includes in the new NLA Zero Carbon London report, is designed with UK architecture studio Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios. Paradise will transform a neglected and disused site into a forward-looking sustainable office building which might become a test case for promoting awareness around the carbon impact of buildings. The scheme is one of our exemplar London schemes that pushes the bar of environmental design and contributes to London’s ambition to become a low carbon city.

The net-zero carbon workplace in Vauxhall was designed for Bywater Properties with a commitment to creating a healthy and environmentally aware design. The new building was given planning approval earlier this year and will replace a disused coffee shop on Old Paradise Street to provide 60,000 square feet of flexible work and maker space.

NLA Awards 2020 celebrates a wide variety of projects from office buildings and interiors to co-working hubs and affordable workspaces for making and manufacturing.
