Webb Yates Engineers is 14!

WYEbirthday

Webb Yates Engineers is 14 years old today!

As we enter our mid-teens it is not all doom and gloom.

Over the course of the year, we have won two Consultant of the Year Awards, two Structural Awards and are top 10 in the Training Initiative Category in the Building News Good Employer Guide. We’ve raised heaps of money for Practical Action and Glass Door London through our annual Beer Festival, Cycle to MIPIM, and the Peculiar Pentathalon – a rather bizzare challenge requiring some curious props: eggs, water balloons and cable ties. We have completed some amazing projects including 15 Clerkenwell Close, 168 Upper Street, Haiti Chapel and the Hoover Building and our Bristol office even met Prince William!

Looking forward to the year ahead, we’re ready to take on new challenges. We will continue to excel in our well-established sectors, innovate with materials, research new construction methods, develop our staff and promote gender equality in our business.

One of our main objectives of the year is to further develop our sustainability credentials. Our circular economy task force has been set up with the premise to research architectural and engineering advancements focusing on holistic and sustainable design cycles and ensure these principles are implemented in all our projects, regardless of scale and budget.

Thank you to all our exceptional clients, wonderful collaborators and talented team for making this year so exciting.
