This timber framed house located in Hythe, Kent perches on what was once a coastal cliff face. In order to minimise excavation the house was lifted on stilts to the front edge. With the exception of the stilts the remainder of the house is a timber construction. Webb Yates Engineers were also responsible for drainage design.
The Cliff House was featured in The Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition 2010.
