The Rain Room installation in the Barbican's Curve gallery allows visitors to experience what it's like to control the rain. An area of 100m2 pours with rain and cameras track visitors controlling the relevant nozzles so that the waters part in accordance with the participant's speed and trajectory. This work required for a light weight 6m x 16m gantry to be hung from the existing roof of the Barbican. The gantry was constructed from lightweight cold rolled sections bolted together on site. Visit the Barbican today to experience this spectacle.
